Starburst Card Technique
I have been wanting to try the Starburst (sunburst) Technique for a while. Today, I made this card that I'll be sending to my son who is working toward his degree in Aviation Maintenance. I think masculine cards are definitely more challenging because I want to add ribbon and bling. The Designer Series Paper and stamp set are both retired from Stampin' Up! but the black and white combination and sentiment were just perfect for this card.
The inside of the card:
I found a video on YouTube from Dawn Olchefske from www.DOstampingwithDawn.com. This video inspired my card. Take a few minutes to watch as Dawn shows just how easy and fun this technique can be.
I hope you will try it, if you haven't already.
Supplies:
Cardstock: whisper white, basic black
DSP: Night and Day (retired)
Stamps: Go Confidently (single stamp) Express Yourself (retired hostess set)
Ink: VersaFine Onyx black
Other: Silver glimmer paper, small star punch
Have a Creative Day!
